Visual Alcohol Monitoring

A visual screen and breathalyzer is placed in the offender’s home.  Upon a randomized computer call, the offender is required to blow into the breathalyzer while the unit automatically takes their picture.  That picture, along with the offender’s alcohol reading, is transmitted directly to our monitoring center for verification.  The computer generates reports listing all calls and alcohol readings including the date and time of each call.  All missed calls and positive readings are logged and reported.  Follow-up tests are sent if positive readings are received.
