Visual Alcohol Monitoring
Visual Positive Identification
A visual screen and breathalyzer are placed within the offender’s home. Upon a randomized computer call, the offender is instructed to blow into the breathalyzer and transmit their picture along with the alcohol reading directly to our monitoring center. The computer generates reports listing all calls and alcohol readings including the date and time of each call. All missed calls and positive readings are logged and reported. This system can also be used without the breathalyzer portion for monitoring curfew only sentences. This entails random calls where the offender has to perform a simple task, such as placing a hand on their head, before transmitting their picture (the task is ever-changing to prevent duplication).
